The new opera house in Vienna is completely unique in terms of both programme and season.

A venerable theatre that has successfully mastered the challenge of inspiring Viennese audiences, filling them with just as much enthusiasm for Baroque opera as for contemporary music theatre, and can justifiably call itself the most innovative opera house in Vienna. The THEATER AN DER WIEN audiences enjoy twelve premieres per season, although a ‘season’ has no specific duration. The THEATER AN DER WIEN is the only stagione opera house in Austria with year-round performances and it therefore offers a veritable alternative to the summer festival tradition. A large number of outstanding international artists and directors have been attracted to participate in the productions on account of, for example, the exceptional rehearsal and performance conditions that cannot be offered by a repertoire theatre.

WIPARK Garage Vienna University of Technology, Operngasse 13 offers a reduced parking fee to Park & Entertain Ticket holders.

Between 5.00 pm and 8.00 am you only pay € 6.90. During matinees, a 5 hour parking card is available for only € 6,90 as well.
Please ask for your Park & Entertain Ticket at THEATER AN DER WIEN. Simply insert it at the self-service pay station after the parking card. Your reduced parking fee is then displayed. Coins, banknotes, credit cards, or Austrian Maestro Cards are accepted. Take back your parking card and drive your car out of the garage.
